The facility rental cancellation form must be submitted to the Community Services Department at least 15 calendar days before the start of your rental, as stated on the rental permit. You will be charged a 10 per cent administration charge on the total cost of your rental.
Failure to comply with this policy will result in the loss of 50 per cent of the total applicable facility fee.
Requests that don't adhere to the Cancellation Policy will be denied.
The Community Services Department will deduct the administration charge from your rental fee. We will refund the balance in one of the following ways:
Refunds of $19.99 or less can be left as a credit on account for up to 24 months or refunded to the original debit or credit card. Cash or cheque payments are refunded as a credit on account.
Refunds of $20 or more cannot be returned as a credit. If you paid with cash or cheque, request a cheque refund. If you paid by debit or credit card, you can choose to receive a cheque or request a refund to the original debit or credit card.
Refunds to debit or credit cards must be made to the original card. Debit card refunds must be made in person. We will arrange a time for you to come in and receive your refund. You do not need to come in for a credit card refund.
