To ensure the health and safety of our volunteers and our animals, volunteers must participate in mandatory training and orientation that takes approximately two hours. Because of this, the time commitment required to volunteer in this role is a minimum of a six-month commitment at 16 hours per month with advanced scheduling.
Our volunteer program includes the following responsibiliities: fostering, dog walking, cat socialization and helping at adoption events.
For each day you selected, tell us if you are available in the morning or afternoon.
Personal information provided is collected under authority of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 2001, c.25, s.103, and will be used to determine eligibility for volunteering for the Clarington Animal Shelter purposes only.
